About Us
Clodagh Mór Catering offers a variety of menus, with a comprehensive selection of foods. All food is prepared in their Salthill-based Western Healthboard approved kitchen, and the food is transported directly to the hosting venue. The company is owned and managed by Clodagh Egan who graduated with a Certificate in Professional Cookery in 2000, achieving high standards in Creative Cooking and also holds the HACCP (Hazard Analyzed Critical Control Point) certificate as required by the Western Healthboard. Upon completion of her Professional Cookery, Clodagh gained experience in one of the ’Twelve Good Food Circles Restaurants’ specialising in seafood in Kinsale – the long-recognised gourmet capital of Ireland. Her culinary interests brought her to widespread fields and she has since completed a specialised Thai food course in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand and gained experience in many culinary institutions worldwide – including Turkey, Egypt, South East Asia, New Zealand and in the prestigious Albert Park Restaurant in Melbourne, Australia. In 2005 Clodagh returned home with many tried-and-tested recipes in her back pocket, and ample experience, and has put it all to use in the establishment of Clodagh Mór Catering. The company caters for a wide spectrum of tastes – from traditional Irish dishes to the more diverse International dishes – and has experience catering for parties of twelve to five-hundred people. |
